Yes! Tiered cakes will be delivered and assembled at the venue.

If you would like to order a single heart cake, these can be collected from my home studio in Wickford, or can be delivered with an additional delivery fee.

Every cake is bespoke and therefore it is difficult to say how much your cake will cost. Tiered cakes start from £400.

What impacts the cost are factors such as the size of your cake, the intricacy of your cake design, decorations such as flowers or edible gold leaf, delivery and cake stand hire.

Heart cakes, which can be collected from my home studio start from £150.

I understand some of you will have a budget or cost in mind for a cake, so please feel free to let me know your ideal spend and I can provide an idea of what that will look like.

To secure your wedding cake, a £100 deposit is paid to ensure your date is safe. Once the final design of your cake has been decided (up to 6 months before your wedding day) , a 50% deposit is required. Remaining payment is made a week before your wedding.

I cover most parts of Essex. Some exceptions can be made, such as parts of London so please contact me to check.

Using the contact form or email - megan@meggybake.co.uk , please share the date you are getting married and location. I will then reply with a choice of dates for a consultation to discuss your dream cake.

I offer consultations over the phone, email and video call. Whatever method of contact you would prefer. At your consultation, we will explore ideas, discuss flavours and cake sizes. This is your time to ask any questions. Your design will be finalised and we can begin the planning!

Consultations are optional and if you already know how you want your cake to look and would prefer to correspond on email, that is absolutely fine.

On the day, I will deliver and set up at your venue. I will be in contact with your venue and other suppliers, such as florists and photographer so you don’t sweat the small stuff.

I do not cater to any food allergies at the moment

Yes, I am registered with my local council as a baker and have a 5* hygiene food rating.
